Before filing
Filing readinessCompany number and legal identity are correct.Registered office/profile data is current.Responsible person/signatory details are complete.Companies House filing copy has been reviewed.Checks/validation do not contain a blocking error.Accounts are finalised.
Submit the controlled copy
Open Electronic filing for the finalised accounts and use the Companies House filing action available for the profile. Review the filing details in the submission step and submit once. Do not create a second submission because the first is still waiting for a response.
Pending, accepted or rejected
A submission can remain pending while the Companies House response is awaited. Balansix updates the filing status when the gateway response is received. If rejected, read the returned error, correct the underlying filing/profile issue and regenerate the filing output before resubmission.
Filing history and evidence
Keep the submission result/receipt with the Accounts Production history. The filed copy remains tied to the exact finalised version that was submitted.
